A patterned conveyor belt is an inclined conveyor belt composed of a patterned covering adhesive on the working surface and a flat covering adhesive and belt core on the non working surface.

Composition: The patterned conveyor belt consists of two parts: the base belt and the patterned belt.
Maintenance of Patterned Conveyor Belts:
- Keep the belt clean during transportation and storage. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, and snow. Prevent contact with acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents. Maintain a distance of at least one meter from heating devices.
- Storage warehouse temperature should be maintained between 18–40 ℃, with relative humidity between 50–80%.
- During storage, the conveyor belt must be placed in rolls and not folded. It should be flipped once every quarter.
- Do not use conveyor belts of different types and specifications together. It is best to use adhesive bonding for joints.
- The type, structure, specifications, and number of layers of the conveyor belt should be reasonably selected according to usage conditions.
- The running speed of the conveyor belt should generally not exceed 2.5 m/s. For large block size materials with high abrasion and fixed unloading devices, low speed should be used as much as possible.
- The relationship between the transmission drum diameter and the fabric layer, the matching of transmission and reversing drums, and the groove angle requirements for idlers should be selected according to conveyor design regulations.
- The feeding direction should follow the running direction of the conveyor belt. Use a chute to minimize the drop distance of materials. The receiving section should shorten roller spacing and use buffer rollers to prevent material leakage. Equip the belt with a soft, moderate material blocking plate to prevent scratching the belt surface.
With the growing adoption of conveyor belts in industrial production, multiple varieties, high performance, lightweight, multifunctional design, and long service life are key concerns for manufacturers. Correct use of conveyor belts is especially important. The following precautions should be observed:
- Avoid rollers being covered by material causing ineffective rotation. Prevent material leakage from getting stuck between the drum and the tape. Lubricate moving parts of the conveyor, but do not apply oil directly on the conveyor belt.
- Prevent the conveyor belt from starting under load.
- If the conveyor belt deviates, take timely corrective measures.
- When local damage is found on the conveyor belt, use artificial cotton for timely repair to prevent expansion.
- Avoid the conveyor belt from being blocked by the frame, pillars, or block materials to prevent collision, breakage, and tearing.
